Author's Note: I got the idea for the first scene on this fic while on vacation, and the rest of the fic unfolded from there! My first Wincest fic that includes both POVs and that spans more than one season!

Recent audiobook listen. I wasn't familiar with this former actress, but I thought this was a really well-written and honest memoir.

Chaos Station Series by Jenn Burke & Kelly Jensen
Finally finished this MM sci-fi series and it was just OK. Underwhelming world-building and the relationship felt unequal to me.

The Shadow King by Maaza Mengiste
Recent read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Ethiopia. I had high hopes, but found it really disappointing.

This has been on my TBR for years and I finally got to them! I thought these books were great and I really hope this author writes more in this series!

Farkas by Kim Fielding
Historical MM romance inspired by Dracula. This author is hit or miss for me but I really enjoyed this one.

The Amputated Memory by Werewere Liking

Recent non-fiction read and I thought it was a really great look at fit culture in America, though I did personally feel that fatness was less represented than I'd have liked.

Recent audiobook listen! Interesting sample of the larger book breaking down mythology with a lens towards the wild woman.

Terribly bad form, gifting you a sequel to a fic I wrote & posted over three years ago and which you've probably almost entirely forgotten, but I have a long and storied history of gifting people weird and inappropriate fics! You've been such a wonderful light in fandom and when you were so enthusiastic and lovely about A Matter of Time when it posted, I immediately got this little plot bunny of a follow-up to the fic. I do hope you like it—sorry it's so abysmally late!

Recent non-fiction read and I thought it was really excellent. A take I hadn't heard before that makes a lot of sense. Highly recommend!

The River of Silver: Tales from the Daevabad Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty
Short stories/missing scenes/etc. from before, during, and after the trilogy! Fun for fans of the series, though obviously some were stronger than others.

In the Absent Everyday by Tsering Wangmo Dhompa
Most recent poetry read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Tibet. Was not a fan. Just too abstract for me.

Claiming Rys (Dark Forest Pack #1) by Annabelle Jacobs
Recent MM romance read and I thought it was pretty meh.

Pulitzer Prize re-read. Read this when it first came out about 15 years ago and LOVED it. I enjoyed it on reread, but there is a lot that didn't hold up for me.
