Reveals just went up over at hd-erised so I can claim the little ficlet I wrote for it! This was my first time writing for the fest, and it was essentially a pinch hit gift for a pinch hitter, the lovely magpie_fngrl! I know most people try and write epics for the fest, but I wanted to do something short and smutty to break up the long!fic. I don't know if I'll ever participate in the fest as a regular participant, but it was fun to get to play along at least a little bit this year. Thanks to everybody who left such lovely comments! ♥

Ooh, it was gorgeous, grace. I think this was the first fic I read in the fest, actually, and I certainly picked a good one! <3

I also appreciated the shorter length in among some very long fics.

Thank you, Birds! I know I personally get a little overwhelmed with all the fic during December, so I hoped providing something short would be nice for people who wanted to read but didn't have much time! :D

ETA: also, as a mod, IDK if I could write a long!fic for this fest because I know what a pain it is to try and create a schedule with so many of them, LOL.

OMG! The mods don't like long!fic??? Haha I dodged a bullet there, I had no idea but it makes sense now :DD

LOL! Personally, we love long fic! As mods though, it definitely gets a little tricky logistically, particularly since a lot of the longer fics end up being the ones on extension that don't come in until halfway through the month. ;)
