Wednesday Words
Ehh, not quite as many words as I was hoping for, but not terrible. I'm at a super dialogue-heavy part of my long!fic right now, which I usually struggle with on the first pass, and that's the case here. Right now I'm basically just writing out straight dialogue to try and get it down on the screen and then I'm going to have to do massive revisions down the road, but trying to write more fully right now for these parts just isn't working. Starting to get a little concerned that I might not make it in time for Advent posting, but there's still a good six weeks so maybe I can pull it off...

I normally handle dialogue-heavy scenes this way too, dialogue first and narration later. Sometimes when I struggle to revise those sections, it helps me to remember it's an option to just leave some of the dialogue plain or with minimal 'said' tags. Of course you don't want to go on for a long time like that, but a little of it can be effective, especially in cases where the dialogue itself really says it all.
I hope you're able to finish in time!
