For those of you who may have missed it--which frankly seems miraculous to me, but you never know--hd_erised recently concluded posting. As always, it was a wonderful fest filled with some truly sexy, moving, hilarious, and astonishing fics and works of art. I cannot say enough about the amazing submissions and the fabulous people who created them, but I urge you all to take a look through the anonymous masterlist and see what's on offer. Don't forget to leave a comment and let our hard-working creators know how much you value and appreciate their work. I know December is hectic time of year, both in fandom, and in real life, but if you're a H/D fan and you have some fanfic reading time to spare, I highly recommend starting with a fic from hd_erised. You won't be disappointed!

For those of you who have been reading along--you're amazing! But I would also urge you to consider reccing a favorite or two from the fest. With over 35 fics to choose from, picking a place to start can be daunting, and some readers may choose to stick with shorter pieces or other fests entirely. Seeing a fic or two recced from Erised could encourage people on your f-list to give your favorite a try, which is always awesome! Recs have been down this year compared to Erised's past, and I'd love to see some more recs before reveals go up on January 9th.

Day 3 of my 50k Writing Challenge and things continue to go at pace. I actually managed to write a little ahead of schedule yesterday, which is good, because work started back up again today, and I have less time for writing.

I'm about to head into hd_writers srsbzns Chatzy chat room, if anybody is around and wants to join me for some sprints. I should be there for a few hours!
