I've been really enjoying writing femslash recently (can you tell?) and the hpfemslash-minifest on Tumblr has been a great excuse to write a little something ever month. I do find writing femslash to be a very different experience compared to writing slash, so I've enjoyed having a chance to build those muscles, so to speak. :D

So I've been reading the Percy Jackson books lately and they are really good! I put them off for a long time because I knew they were middle-grade books, and I thought they'd be boring, but I've really enjoyed them. I love mythology and the way it's been modernized in the series is pretty fun. I've finished the first series, and I am about to start the next set, so I figured I'd make a rec post.

THOUGH, can I just say that it's insane how little awesome Luke/Percy fic there is? Because there is so much subtext there to play around with it's ridiculous. How many times does Percy need to mention how attractive Luke is? I mean, we get it, he's hot.

This is my first time writing this pairing, though I've been a hard-core since the first Avengers movie came out. AoU definitely jump-started my Stony feels and I had to fic my way through them. :D


Two quick notes: I don't mention Pepper in this, but I'm going with the idea that her and Tony broke up before the movie, so no infidelity here. I also find the arc reactor super hot, so for sexiness purposes, I'm ignoring the end of Iron Man 3...aka Tony still has the arc reactor.
