I'm trying to think up ideas for this year's bbtp_challenge (a smutty multi-fandom challenge posting on September 1) and I am uncharacteristically drawing a blank! Not even my trusty plot-bunny folder has been able to help me, as all of the ideas are either not porny or far too long for me to be able to finish in time. So I figured I'd ask y'all for help! Everybody! bbtp_challenge is coming back again this year on September 1 and I am so excite! This is such a fun and low-key challenge, and it's the absolute perfect opportunity to write one of those smutty fic ideas you've had jotted down for ages. Multi-fandom, multi-pairing, and I'm always down for more porn! I was so stoked, I actually managed to bang out a draft of my contribution this weekend...LOL! But y'all should seriously consider participating. It's the perfect excuse to bang out something short and porny. :D

The death of Draco's father and the memories of Draco's past sexual assaults hit Draco hard, but watching him work through his grief and pain was a very moving and cathartic experience. I also really loved Draco's relationship and interaction with Blaise and Millie and his mother, and little James Sirius Potter was adorable. Harry here shines in all his wonderful goodness, and the whole fic was just immensely satisfying.

God, this fic is just gorgeous! I adore he characterization here and Eggsy's reaction to Harry coming back from the dead is both heartbreaking and painfully realistic. Really beautiful build-up and some seriously hot sex!

OMG this fic is awesome! I love Arthur and his merry band of bank robbers, and adorable Merlin as a bank teller was perfect. I adored the connection between Merlin and Arthur here, and the sex was just unbelievably hot. Really fun plot, and just an all-around super enjoyable read!

There's no way this well-thought-out, sensible, debugged and 100% bulletproof plan can possibly go wrong.
Really cool set of fics that have Charles going back in time when he first met Erik and seducing him for the greater good. Interesting, and funny, and sexy reads!

So I am planning on posting recs from several different fandoms for Rectober, but I thought it would be fitting to have Harry Potter be the fandom of choice for my first post.

I actually read a good amount of non-fest HP fic this past month! Almost all of it H/D, and most of it new (though one older series managed to sneak in here). I've actually got a pretty sizable list of H/D fics that I read ages ago and I remember liking, but I need to re-read before I can officially rec. But It's hard to work my way through the list when so many fabulously shiny new things are being written every day!

I imagine most of this next month's reading will consist of the lovely submissions over at hd_fan_fair's Career Fair, not to mention samhain_smut, hp_creatures, sirius_black Appreciation Day on the 31st, and the final postings at hp_silencio.
