I wrote this fic at the end of 2020 in anticipation of daily_deviant's yearly January theme "everything old is new again" in which you write for a theme from the previous year that you hadn't used in any of your other entries. Since DD appears to be on an indefinite hiatus and having this finished fic sitting unposted in my drafts was giving me anxiety, I'm just gonna post it now. :D

So I've been reading the Percy Jackson books lately and they are really good! I put them off for a long time because I knew they were middle-grade books, and I thought they'd be boring, but I've really enjoyed them. I love mythology and the way it's been modernized in the series is pretty fun. I've finished the first series, and I am about to start the next set, so I figured I'd make a rec post.

THOUGH, can I just say that it's insane how little awesome Luke/Percy fic there is? Because there is so much subtext there to play around with it's ridiculous. How many times does Percy need to mention how attractive Luke is? I mean, we get it, he's hot.
