Reveals recently went up over at hp_goldenage, which means I can claim my unusual submission! It's pg-rated het for a suuuuper rare pair, but the heart wants what the heart wants! I don't even know where this came from, but I really wanted to write for this fest, and for some reason this is the prompt and scenario that called to me. I've been really enjoying writing femslash recently (can you tell?) and the hpfemslash-minifest on Tumblr has been a great excuse to write a little something ever month. I do find writing femslash to be a very different experience compared to writing slash, so I've enjoyed having a chance to build those muscles, so to speak. :D

Notes: Title is from the song "One Day" by Melody Gardot. Fun fact: I wrote this fic with beds, and then went back and reread the bit from Deathly Hallows describing the room to add in some details and realised they didn't have beds, they had hammocks! *facepalm* So now you get hammock sharing instead!

Wrote this femslash ficlet for the December 2018 trope theme of Fake/Pretend Dating over at hpfemslash-minifest! I've honestly been wanting to try my hand at neww pairings, and femslash pairings in particular, and this low-key 'fest' has been a good excuse to do so!

But this concept popped into my head and the words just poured out. I wish I'd had the time to properly dive into this one, but I hope y'all enjoy regardless. :)

I'm not sure these *technically* count as Rectober recs, since I'm not including *why* I'm reccing them. But I needed to repost my HP art rec posts, because it was starting to get too big for LJ to handle, and I figured Rectober would be as good a time as any to do that.
