The awesome Fansplaining Podcast is conducting a survey to come up with a shared definition for what "fanfiction" actually is. It takes maybe 10-15 minutes, and they have questions on your defintiion of fandom and fanfiction, what types of things fanfiction always, never, or sometimes is, as well as questions on published works and whether or not they qualify as fanfiction.
