Summary: It made Astoria feel special, being loved by someone who hated everybody else.
Author's Note: I have a soft spot for these two and haven't had much opportunity to write them together, so this fest and prompt were both great motivation! Title comes from the song of the same name from the show 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' because I couldn't help myself. Thanks to malenkayacherepakha for the quick once-over!

Had a wildly productive writing week. Bounced around a bunch of different projects, and managed to hit all of my writing goals. I'm not sure if I've ever had so many simultaneous writing projects going at once, but so far it's been working surprisingly well.

Weekly Word Count (5/13 - 5/19) = 10,297

What I Worked On:

• daily_deviant Banging Birthday Pinch Hit: went through beta edits, did final read-through, and submitted!


• hphet Minifest: went through final edits and posted! You can read it here!


• Kink!Fic: wrote another scene.


• hpinspiredby: lost my damned mind and claimed a prompt. Drafted.


• Possible hp_crossgenfest: wrote 2 scenes.


• Possible hd-hurtfest: finished the first chapter + another 1.5 scenes. Excited because I *think* I'm going to be able to incorporate a scene snippet that's been languishing in my WIPs folder without a proper fic home.


• May/June hpfemslash-minifest: decided on a pairing and outlined.

Next Week's Goals

• Possible hp_crossgenfest: write a scene.


• Possible hd-hurtfest: write 3 scenes.


• hpinspiredby: do initial read-through + edits.


• Kink!Fic: write a scene. This is lowest priority, but I'd love to try and maintain some forward momentum so I don't totally lose my writing place in it.
