What did you recently finish reading?
Ace: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex by Angela ChenHonestly I feel like this should be required reading. Really excellent.
Heidi by Joahnna Spyri
Read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Switzerland. Super sweet--a bit too much as an adult, but I can see why this would make a great kid's book.
Now in November by Josephine Winslow Johnson
Most recent Pulitzer Prize Winner read, and I surprisingly really enjoyed it. Some truly gorgeous writing.
The Mothers by Brit Bennett
I really enjoyed this one! I didn't like it quite as much as The Vanishing Half though, mostly because I didn't find the ending very satisfying. It's quite open, which is generally something I enjoy, but here it felt a little unfinished to me. Still worth a read though!
The Grave Between Us (A Noah & Cole Thriller #2) by Tal Bauer
Most recent MM Romance read. The mystery aspect was excellent but the romance was a bit meh for my personal tastes.
What are you currently reading?
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah HarariCurrent non-fiction read.
Why Goats Smell Bad and Other Stories from Benin by Raouf Mama
Current read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Benin.
Hidden Wolves Series by Kaje Harper
Current MM romance series. I really enjoy this author and this is one of the better approaches to werewolves I've read, even if I'm a little meh on the fact that there are no female werewolves...
What do you think you’ll read next?
Sirena Selena vestida de pena by Mayra Santos-FebresNextread for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Puerto Rico.
Women and Other Monsters: Building a New Mythology by Jess Zimmerman

Chronicles of Alsea Book 6 by Fletcher DeLancey
Time for my monthly Alsea read!
The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich
Next Pulitzer Prize Winner read! This is the 2021 winner that was just announced on Friday and I was lucky enough to snag a copy from my library before the deluge of post-winner holds. :D
