What did you recently finish reading?

Humankind by Rutger Bregman
Most recent non-fiction read. I thought this take on humanity as basically good was really interesting and it was nice to read some non-fiction that made me feel hopeful about humanity instead of despairing.

Life Lessons Series by Kaje Harper
Finished up this MM romance series and overall I really liked it. I generally enjoy this author's works, and this was no exception.

Seeing People Off by Jana Beňová
Most recent read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Slovakia. Fucking bizarre. More experimental and I just didn't "get" it.

Will by Will Smith
Most recent audiobook listen and I thought it was really interesting. Definitely recommend the audiobook as the production quality was fabulous.

What are you currently reading?

Period Power by Maisie Hill
Current non-fiction read.

A Life on Our Planet: My Witness Statement and a Vision for the Future by David Attenborough
Current audiobook listen.

The Store by T.S. Stribling
Current Pulitzer Prize Winner read.

Heart2Heart: A Charity Anthology Volume 5 by Various
Current MM romance read.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Bright Ages: A New History of Medieval Europe by Matthew Gabriele & David Perry
Next non-fiction read.

Junk Shop Blues (Criminal Intentions, #2) by Cole McCade
Next MM romance read. Really interesting concept with each book like an "episode" of a police procedural. First book was engaging and curious to see how things progress.

Told by Starlight in Chad by Joseph Brahim Seid
Next read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Chad.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
As anticipated, book club got pushed back. I think I'll actually be starting this one this week, though that's still a bit TBD.
