What did you recently finish reading?

Utopia for Realists: How We Can Build the Ideal World by Rutger Bregman
Most recent non-fiction read. I find his ideas super compelling.

A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske
Queer historical fantasy that I ended up really enjoying! Super fun, and I'm excited there will be more in the series.

Cooper Point Medical Book 3 by Heidi Cullinan
Disappointing conclusion to a sub-par MM romance series, from an author I usually adore.

The Railway by Hamid Ismailov
Most recent read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Uzbekistan. WAY too many characters and stories to keep track of and I was just confused the whole time.

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelous
Most recent audiobook listen, and unpopular opinion, but I thought it was underwhelming. I was surprised at how meh the author's narration was, and I hadn't realized the book only covers her very early life, which just isn't what I'm most interested in.

What are you currently reading?

The Age of Surveillance Capitalism: The Fight for a Human Future at the New Frontier of Power by Shoshana Zuboff
Current non-fiction read.

Point of Dreams (Astreiant #3) by Melissa Scott
Current queer fantasy series read! Continuing to quite enjoy this world. :D

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born by Ayi Kwei Armah
Next read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Ghana.

Page & Sommers Series by Cat Sebastian
Next MM romance read.
