Fell short of my goal, but I'm not really surprised. Summer has been busy and there's been a heatwave the past week and I have no air conditioning + I've had a long going on mod-wise for both hd_erised and harrydracobang. I actually did manage to get words down most days, but just not that many.

JULY ROUND-UP

• July smpc : did final read-through, and posted! You can read it here!


• Drarry Gift!Fic Sequel: finished rough draft! This was a fic I outlined and wrote like a paragraph of nearly three years ago and then picked back up on a whim!


• Samulet Journey: wrote a scene.


• Wincest & Puppy Play : outlined and started drafting.


• Soulless!Sam Plane!Sex: went through initial edits.


• Wincest Panty!Kink: went through initial edits.


• Wincest & Sex Toys: finished rough draft.

AUGUST GOALS

August Word Count Goal: 15,000

Almost assuredly over-ambitious given my WC trends over the past several months, and because August promises to be super busy both IRL and on the fannish modding front, but sometimes I'm the most productive with writing when I'm the busiest, so fingers crossed!

August Fics to Focus On

• Samulet Journey: write a scene.


• The First Time: write a scene/refine outline.


• Wincest & Puppy Play : finish draft.


• Wincest Sex Pollen: do final read-through and post!


• Drarry Gift!Fic Sequel: go through initial edits & find/send to beta. Maybe even post!


• A Relationship Unravels - HP: Hopefully get back from beta and begin edits.


• Possible 2022 hpkinktober: I'd like to ideally write at least one scene.


• Fics to Send to Beta: SamJack Fic, Wincest S2, Wincest S3 Coda, Size!Kink, Soulless!Sam Plane!Sex, Wincest Panty!Kink, & Wincest Does New Mexico


• Fics to Edit: Wincest & Sex Toys

Upcoming Fics / Stuff on the back-burner

• Fics Awaiting Beta: Wincest 5+1--lower-priority since there's no deadline. It's unlikely I'll get it back in August, but if I do, I'll pull it in. Otherwise it's on the back-burner until its triumphant return to my inbox!


• Wincest Season Codas: lowkey aiming to write one episode-specific coda/missing scene for every season, and so far I'm at 13/15. I'm finishing up the 14th in August and the final season I need to coda-fy is S15, but I'm only on S10 of my rewatch. I doubt I'll make it through 4 seasons this month, so it's on the backburner for the moment.


• Drarry Long!Fic: I do want to finish this at some point in 2022, but I don't know if I'm ready to look at it yet. Though I think I'm getting closer!


• Sterek!AU: I think I might need to just accept that this is just not happening right now. I've got it outlined but I need to rewatch the movie inspiration to refine, and I've just not been in the mood.


• Taking Chances Sequel: on indefinite hiatus. I've got several pages worth of ideas for the sequel, but it's in no cohesive plot form, and IDK if it'll ever come to life.


• Pile O' Plot Bunnies: I currently have a list of over 20 concrete plot bunny ideas. Some of things I'll try and incorporate into fests or daily deviant themes. Some are sequels or codas to existing fics of mine. There are a couple of ideas here that I REALLY want to write at some point, so I'm always keeping an eye out for a good opportunity to prioritize one of my ideas.
