Author's Notes: This is a prequel to my ficlet Red as Wine (and Twice as Heady) that I wrote for Daily Deviant back in January 2017 but as it takes place before that one, it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

Fun fact, this is my original plan for what eventually that first fic. I ended up scrapping this outline when I realized it was going to be a little more angsty/less smutty than I'd been shooting for with that particular fic. I started over with something a bit snappier, but still had this backstory lying around, so I figured I might as well write it and clear out one of my WIPs! :D

Happy January, everybody! What better way to kick of the new year than with vampires and bloodplay?? I was excited to get a second chance to play around with this kink for January's daily_deviant, especially when Dean and Seamus begged to be written. I'd only ever written them in drabbles before, so I was excited to write something a bit longer. So excited, that my original outline was quickly revealed to be a bit too ambitious, and I ended up scrapping it and going for something a bit shorter and sexier. Though I do still have the outline and it would work wonderfully as a prequel to this fic, so I might have to write it someday...Anyway, hope y'all enjoy!
