So, I'm sort of doing this? Since I don't actually produce any fanworks, I'm pretty sure a lot of the challenges won't apply to me, but I've decided to do the ones that I can! I've already found some great new fics and communities from my f-list doing the first few days! :)

Day 2
In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.

I definitely went a bit overboard on this one...but there is so much awesomeness to recognize!

For H/D there are so many fests and communities I honestly don't even know where to start. I think the first community I followed was my_drarry_recs by capitu which is really awesome. She posts new recs several times a week with some really well-thought out comments telling you why you should read, which is lacking in a lost of rec lists (it's hard to do!). And my favorite fest is probably hd_smoochfest because I need a happy ending, and this fest guarantees it! Plus the themes are always a lot of fun and it is just a happy, exited atmosphere.

When I first got into fandom I only read H/D, but hp_kinkfest is what got me reading other pairings. There is a ton of variety in terms of both pairings and kinks and there is basically something for everybody, and the fics tend to be short, sweet, and to the point. The only sad thing is that it is a fest,so there are only updates once a year. Which one of the reasons why I lovedaily_deviant on InsaneJournal so much. It has a similar premise but there are weekly posts, in addition to a fabolous Kinky Kristmas Fest. And the pairings here are even more varied I would say. I have read pairings I honestly would never have sought out, which is pretty awesome.

For theTeen Wolf fandom I really like teenwolffinders for finding fics. The community is pretty quick about responding if they can help I have had some good luck finding fics I thought I had lost. Plus, I love helping people out, makes me feel important! teenwolf_daily is also very useful as it posts daily lists of fics written with a variety of pairings. It is sort of a daily fandom summary, and I mostly use it to find rare-pair fics since those can be harder to find if you aren't specifically seeking them out. And there are a few great fests, but I have really been enjoying teenwolf_bb which has been the first fig bang I have experienced first hand, and the first that has produced so many fics that I have loved! There are some extremely talented artists in the TW fandom, so it's awesome seeing them illustrate these lovely fics. And their word minimum is 15,000 which isn't too long, so there have been a good mix of super long and manageable fics to consume!
