Wednesday Words
Made some okay progress this past week, and I do think it's been helpful being mostly back in my routine. Still struggling with my HP feels though, which I think is part of why it's been hard to really get momentum with the writing. :/

Weekly Word Count (3/4 - 3/10) = 2,119

What I Worked On:
  • [community profile] daily_deviant March:finished drafting, editing, and posted! You can read it here.

  • [tumblr.com profile] hpfemslash-minifest March/April: themes posted and I outlined, drafted, found/sent to beta, went through final edits, and prepared for posting! This was pretty much my lowest priority, so of course that meant it was what my brain decided to work on... Eh, at least it's done and ready to go.

Next Week's Goals
  • [community profile] daily_deviant April: this is my next deadline, and I'd love to finish drafting this one. It shouldn't be massively long, so I'm hoping it's doable. I know what I'm writing, I've just not yet figured out how I'm starting the fic.

Congrats on your progress! I guess it sometimes works better, writing first something else than what we’ve planned.

I’ve surprised myself with a beginning of something like femslash. It doesn’t fit well with the March/April prompts at HP Femslash Minifest, and I still find tumblr confusing. Could you tell me how to find those scenario prompts, perhaps older ones, too, as I’ve understood they are all still available?

Thanks!

As for the Femslash Minifest prompts, you really just have to scroll through the tumblr to see past prompts, as they don't have a great tagging system that makes them easy to find. You can also look at their subcollections on AO3 as those usually have the prompt(s) in the name of the collection.

Thank you! Almost anything could fit the past theme prompt “change”, so there’s a chance to participate. And in any case those subcollections offer some nice things to read. I guess I can’t possibly find any more detailed scenario prompt.

No, the comm isn't meant to be like a traditional fest with scenario prompts.
