I did a lot of reading this past week, particularly in terms of fanfic, but it was a nice balance overall. :D
Really engaging and well-written, and I really appreciate how the author makes clear the difference between the claims of not being racist and active anti-racist behavior. Highly recommend.
Empire Falls by Richard Russo
I honestly didn't have high hopes for this one as it sounded pretty boring, and I've had terrible luck with the Pulitzer Prize winners lately, but I really enjoyed this one!
The Mysterious and Amazing Blue Billings by Lily Morton
I really enjoyed this one! Paranormal romance, two of my favs. :D
At the Bottom of Rock Bottom and Nowhere by L.A. Witt
Got a bunch of free reads from this author and have been making my way through. Not bad, but not particularly good, either.

Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach
Interesting and a bit gruesome, as one might expect given the topic...
I think this will probably be my next non-fiction read.
Shades of Magic Series by V.E. Schwab
Read the first book in this series now and, assuming I like it, the rest of the series will be next on the list!
Charlie Sunshine by Lily Morton
This just came out today and is the second book in a series I've enjoyed so far by an author that tends to really work for me, so I'm looking forward to it!
