What did you recently finish reading?

Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad
HIGHLY recommend. Great primer on white supremacy, but where it really shines is the workbook aspect with 28 days' worth of prompts to really make you connect yourself and your world/life to white supremacy.

Meh. It was fine, but this author can do better.

Villains Series by V.E. Schwab
Honestly, I was a little underwhelmed by this series... I thought it was fine, but I honestly didn't really find the main characters to be particularly interesting or compelling. I love a good villain or anti-hero, but I felt like both Victor and Eli felt flat and not all that interesting or complex tbh. Which is clearly not an opinion shared by most of the people who read the books, LOL.

I loved the first two books in this series and was pretty disappointed by the third. This one just came out and I'm crossing my fingers it's a good one!

Pieces of You (Missing Pieces, #1) by N.R. Walker
This author can be a bit hit or miss for me (with more hits than misses), and I'm honestly really not keen on memory loss as a trope, so not sure how this will go... But book two in this series just came out so I should probably read book one...
