For my outlines, I just do it in google docs and essentially write out a paragraph of sort of stream-of-consiousness for what I envision for the scene. Sometimes it's super detailed with snippets of dialogue if the scene is really clear, sometimes it might just be a sentence or two! I've got a post up that goes through my writing process and it has an example of what one of my scene outlines generally looks like!
