After last week's poor showing, I am absolutely THRILLED with this week's progress! Was able to check off three of the things I want to get done from my list AND editing for the Drarry fic I picked back up went pretty fantastically. I often will skip transitions/endings/dialogue fleshing out/and entire convos while writing an initial draft if I'm finding I'm struggling with them and it's holding up my momentum. I find coming back to them during edits is SO much easier, but every time I'm super nervous that I'll get stuck again. Thankfully, I found it quite smooth sailing to get through, and I'm feeling energized about the idea again, which is exciting!

Weekly Word Count (9/8-9/14) = 8,683

• Vampire!Wincest: finished partially written scene.


• Wincest Weed!Fic: finished draft.


• Abandoned harrydracobang: edited the fifteen existing chapters, which included some pretty extensive rewrites/fleshing out of dialogue, as well as filling in a number of placeholders. I've not looked at it for months, and I was feeling quite meh about it towards the end, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I'm actually really quite happy with it! And the editing wasn't even painful! Tentatively picking this one back up.

Next Week's Goals

• Vampire!Wincest: either write the ending scene, or go back and finish up one of the earlier scenes that I decided to skip.


• Wincest Weed!Fic: finish draft and go through initial edits


• A Relationship Unravels: go through second round of edits.


• Abandoned harrydracobang: write a scene
