What did you recently finish reading?

Consumed: The Need for Collective Change: Colonialism, Climate Change, and Consumerism by Aja Barber
Most recent non-fiction read focusing on the fashion industry and over-consumption. A bit broad, but well-written.

The Edge of Sadness by Edwin O'Connor
Most recent Pulitzer Prize Winner read. I didn't have high expectations and it kind of blew me out of the water. Understated, but poignant and beautifully written.

The Accusation by Bandi
Most recent audiobook listen as part of my Around the World Reading Challenge for North Korea.It's a collection of fictionalized short stories critical of the regime and I thought it was brilliant.

I'm very curious as to what your thought are on "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" Its been years since i read it, but i remember i loved it. Sweet, warm, tender.


How you manage to do and read and participate in so many things, still amazes me. i can only do about a 1/4 of it. then again, i imagine you are a lot more organized than me, and probably don't waste nearly as much time.
