A little under my goal for the month, which I'm not ~thrilled~ about, but considering I wrote almost all of those words right at the end of the month, I'm just glad I got anything down. I think, maybe, I'm starting to come out of my rut, but I also just got back from a vacation, which could have totally thrown all my momentum... Time will tell!

MAY ROUND-UP

• Wincest Gift!Fic: went through beta edits, did final read-through, and posted! You can read it here!


• Wincest Size!Kink: poked at draft and wrote a couple of paragraphs.


• Wincest S2: went through initial edits.


• Wincest S3 Coda: went through initial edits.


• June smpc : outlined, wrote first draft, went through initial edits, and sent to beta.


• The First Time: veeeery loose outline.


• Wincest S5 Coda: outlined and wrote first draft.


• Samulet Journey: outlined most of the fic and wrote first two scenes.


• Irredeemable HP Smut: outlined. This is honestly just filth and kind of OOC and I outlined while half asleep, so IDK if it'll ever get written, but it's there now.


• hd-wireless: sent to beta.


• Possible 2022 hpkinktober: finished a scene.


• hp-nextgen-fest: went through beta edits, did final read-through, and submitted!

JUNE GOALS

June Word Count Goal: 12,000

Possibly optimistic given how the past couple of months have gone, but I'd honestly like to even overshoot this if possible since I'm a little behind where I want to be for the year. Then again, I've got a lot of editing on my plate for this month which tends to be lower WC, so we'll see where the cards land!

June Fics to Focus On

• hd-wireless: go through beta edits, do final read-through, and submit!


• spn_j2_bigbang: go through beta edits, do final read-through, and post!


• June smpc : go through beta edits, do final read-through, and post!


• Samulet Journey: I'd like to write at least one scene, possibly two depending on the timing of my rewatches since they take place in different seasons.


• The First Time: I've got one scene in this that is more concrete and it's generally set in the period of the show I'm rewatching now, so I'd like to try and write this scene while I'm here.


• Wincest Season Codas: lowkey aiming to write one episode-specific coda/missing scene for every season, and so far I'm at 12/15. I'm planning to do a rewatch of S6 next, and I'd like to decide on an idea, outline, and ideally write the first draft in June.


• Wincest Size!Kink: lower priority, but my plan is to basically poke at this one in between other projects. I'd love to finish it in June, but nbd if it doesn't happen.


• Possible 2022 hpkinktober: I'd like to ideally write at least one scene.


• Fics to Send to Beta: Wincest Sex Pollen, SamJack Fic, Wincest S2, Wincest S3 Coda & Wincest Does New Mexico


• Fics to Edit: Wincest Panty!Kink & Wincest S5 Coda

Upcoming Fics / Stuff on the back-burner

• Fics Awaiting Beta: I've got a couple of fics with beta A Relationship Unravels - HP, & Wincest 5+1 that are lower-priority since there's no deadline. It's unlikely I'll get either of them back in June since my betas will be going through other fics that are due in June. If I do get either of these back, I'll pull them in, but otherwise they are on the back-burner until their triumphant return to my inbox!


• Drarry Long!Fic: I do want to finish this at some point in 2022, but I don't know if I'm ready to look at it yet.


• Sterek!AU: I think I might need to just accept that this is just not happening right now. I've got it outlined but I need to rewatch the movie inspiration to refine, and I've just not been in the mood.


• Taking Chances Sequel: on indefinite hiatus. I've got several pages worth of ideas for the sequel, but it's in no cohesive plot form, and IDK if it'll ever come to life.


• Pile O' Plot Bunnies: I currently have a list of over 20 concrete plot bunny ideas. Some of things I'll try and incorporate into fests or daily deviant themes. Some are sequels or codas to existing fics of mine. There are a couple of ideas here that I REALLY want to write at some point, so I'm always keeping an eye out for a good opportunity to prioritize one of my ideas.
