Y'all, this month was rough. This is the second lowest amount of words I've written in a single month since I started writing in 2014, so, yeah... I mean, I knew this month was going to be super busy IRL, but I didn't quite prepare myself for the confluence of work, RL plans, and modding responsibilities. My mental health has not been doing great, and I have another month of insanity, which kind of makes me want to curl up into a ball, but we soldier on! I can rest in October. :/

AUGUST ROUND-UP

• Wincest Sex Pollen: did final read-through, and posted! You can read it here!


• Drarry Gift!Fic Sequel: finished initial edits


• Samulet Journey: wrote a scene.


• Wincest & Puppy Play : finished drafting


• A Relationship Unravels - HP: sent to & got back from beta & brit-picker, and went through edits


• Wincest Does New Mexico: sent to & got back from beta, and went through edits.


• Soulless!Sam Plane!Sex: made some edits.


• bbtp: sent to & got back from beta. Went through edits, did final read-through, and prepped for posting!

SEPTEMBER GOALS

September Word Count Goal: 15,000

I've got another busy month ahead and, frankly, it'll be a miracle if I hit this number. But I really do miss writing, and so I'm setting this as aspirational, with the hopes that I'll be able to carve out some time!

September Fics to Focus On

• Samulet Journey: possibly write a scene, depending on where I get in my rewatch. Maybe even two, as I have two scenes planned in S11, which I'm hoping to get through this month.


• The First Time: write a scene/refine outline.


• Drarry Gift!Fic Sequel: go through initial edits & find/send to beta.


• A Relationship Unravels - HP: post!


• bbtp: post!


• Wincest Does New Mexico: possibly post!


• Possible 2022 hpkinktober: I'd like to ideally write at least one scene.


• Drarry Long!Fic: I am in a bit of a Drarry mood, so I might try and read through this in September and see if a spark catches!


• Fics to Send to Beta: SamJack Fic, Wincest S2, Size!Kink, Soulless!Sam Plane!Sex, & Wincest Panty!Kink.


• Fics to Edit: Wincest & Sex Toys & Wincest & Puppy Play

Upcoming Fics / Stuff on the back-burner

• Fics Awaiting Beta: Wincest 5+1--lower-priority since there's no deadline. It's unlikely I'll get it back in September, but if I do, I'll pull it in. Otherwise it's on the back-burner until its triumphant return to my inbox!


• Wincest Season Codas: lowkey aiming to write one episode-specific coda/missing scene for every season, and so far I'm at 14/15. The final season I need to coda-fy is S15, but I'm only on S10 of my rewatch. I doubt I'll make it through 4 seasons this month, so it's on the backburner for the moment.


• Sterek!AU: I think I might need to just accept that this is just not happening right now. I've got it outlined but I need to rewatch the movie inspiration to refine, and I've just not been in the mood.


• Taking Chances Sequel: on indefinite hiatus. I've got several pages worth of ideas for the sequel, but it's in no cohesive plot form, and IDK if it'll ever come to life.


• Pile O' Plot Bunnies: I currently have a list of over 20 concrete plot bunny ideas. Some of things I'll try and incorporate into fests or daily deviant themes. Some are sequels or codas to existing fics of mine. There are a couple of ideas here that I REALLY want to write at some point, so I'm always keeping an eye out for a good opportunity to prioritize one of my ideas.
