Not my worst writing month so far this year, but I'm not sure that's exactly something to be proud of... Not terrible considering I only wrote 10 days this month, and TBH, I fully expected this would be a rough writing month considering RL craziness and burnout.

SEPTEMBER ROUND-UP

• A Relationship Unravels gift!fic: did final read-through, and posted! You can read it here!


• Drarry Long!Fic: did read-through of the last few unedited chapters I'd written, filled in some gaps, and wrote a scene.

• CainDean Fic: drafted and went through initial edits..


• October smpc: went through beta edits and prepped for posting.

OCTOBER GOALS

October Word Count Goal: 15,000

This is extremely ambitious--there has only been one month this year where I've hit 15k... I'm also in a bit of a lull in terms of writing motivation, which sucks because I tend to really struggle coming out of them, and TBH, my October, while not as packed as August/September, is still pretty full.

October Fics to Focus On

• Samulet Journey: read through current fic to determine the direction I want the final scene to go in. Possible write final scene.


• The First Time: write a scene/refine outline.


• Drarry Gift!Fic Sequel: find/send to beta.


• Wincest Does New Mexico: possibly post!


• October smpc: do final read-through and post!


• Drarry Long!Fic: write a scene.


• Fics to Send to Beta: SamJack Fic, Wincest S2, Soulless!Sam Plane!Sex, Wincest & Puppy Play, CainDean!Fic & Wincest Panty!Kink.

Upcoming Fics / Stuff on the back-burner

• Fics Awaiting Beta: Wincest 5+1--lower-priority since there's no deadline. It's unlikely I'll get it back in October, but if I do, I'll pull it in. Otherwise it's on the back-burner until its triumphant return to my inbox!


• Wincest Season Codas: lowkey aiming to write one episode-specific coda/missing scene for every season, and so far I'm at 14/15. The final season I need to coda-fy is S15, but I'm only at the end of S11 for my rewatch. I doubt I'll make it through 2 seasons this month, so it's on the backburner for the moment.


• Possible 2023 hpkinktober: need to evaluate if this is gonna happen. I had grand plans to write this before October 2022, but it never came together.


• Sterek!AU: I think I might need to just accept that this is just not happening right now. I've got it outlined but I need to rewatch the movie inspiration to refine, and I've just not been in the mood.


• Taking Chances Sequel: on indefinite hiatus. I've got several pages worth of ideas for the sequel, but it's in no cohesive plot form, and IDK if it'll ever come to life.


• Pile O' Plot Bunnies: I currently have a list of over 20 concrete plot bunny ideas. Some of things I'll try and incorporate into fests or daily deviant themes. Some are sequels or codas to existing fics of mine. There are a couple of ideas here that I REALLY want to write at some point, so I'm always keeping an eye out for a good opportunity to prioritize one of my ideas.
