What did you recently finish reading?

Why We're Polarized by Ezra Klein
Recent non-fiction read and I thought it was really excellent. A take I hadn't heard before that makes a lot of sense. Highly recommend!

The River of Silver: Tales from the Daevabad Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty
Short stories/missing scenes/etc. from before, during, and after the trilogy! Fun for fans of the series, though obviously some were stronger than others.

In the Absent Everyday by Tsering Wangmo Dhompa
Most recent poetry read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Tibet. Was not a fan. Just too abstract for me.

Claiming Rys (Dark Forest Pack #1) by Annabelle Jacobs
Recent MM romance read and I thought it was pretty meh.

The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Pulitizer Prize re-read since the last time I read this one was in high school. Better than I remembered--I think some of the themes resonate more as an adult.

What are you currently reading?

Deconstructing the Fitness Industrial Complex: How to Resist, Disrupt, and Reclaim What It Means to Be Fit in American Culture by Justice Roe Williams, Roc Rochon, & Lawrence Koval
Current non-fiction read.

Redeeming Nick (Dark Forest Pack #2) by Annabelle Jacobs
Current MM romance read.

Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Current audiobook listen!

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Dawn of Everything by David Graeber & David Wengrow
Next nonfiction read.

Normal Enough by Marie Sexton
Next MM romance read.

Five Fingers by Māra Zālīte
Next read for my Around the World Reading Challenge for Latvia.

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Sci-fi I've been curious about.
