With the holiday season starting up this week (at least in the USA) I figured I would round up a few themed recs! These are some of the fics I've read and loved in multiple different fandoms that have something to do with the holidays, from Thanksgiving to the New Year. :D

Slightly less fluffy than most advent fics, but not too angsty! Draco and Harry are busy with work and haven't really made their relationship a priority. Draco wants them to be remember why they work well together and fell in love, so he come up with an advent calendar of sorts to help Harry remember. This was touching, and sweet, and realistic, and sexy.

Title: There’s a Light at the Top of the Stairs

Summary: It’s the first Christmas after the war and Harry and Draco have a date with a dead hydrangea bush... they just don’t know it yet.
If you've read Turn (and if you haven't, go read it now!) this fic is especially fun! It is set in the glimpse!verse and details how Harry and Draco get together. It's lovely and sweet and so much fun! The side characters are great and it is lovely seeing all of these background details from the turn!verse get a little bit of back-story!

Title: Sealed with a Kiss

This was a great fic with oblivious!Harry living and working with Draco, realizing he is in love with him and coming to terms with what that means and how that will affect their relationship. The characters in this are all so wonderful and I especially love Draco and the lovely OC Nisha.

Such a lovely holiday fic! The relationship between Kirk and Spock is so wonderful and sweet, but dealing with Kirk's past and his tense relationship with his mother prevents the fic from feeling overly fluffy. And the sex is really fantastic. The kissing alone was just so sexy.

Title: Terrarium

This fic was perfect. Just the right balance of darkness and sweet. I loved all of the character interactions and characterizations.

Just a lovely holiday piece.

This fic was just perfect. I love how lonely they both felt and how that sort of drew them together. The friendship evolution is beautiful and realistic and the holiday aspect wasn't too overdone.

This is such a wonderful holiday fic that takes place after the events of 3A. Loved the development of the relationship and their connection was so well-written!
