So for those of you who watched the show How I Met Your Mother, might remember the Naked Man episode, where the gang comes up with a list of 50 reasons to have sex. There was actually a multi-fandom mini-fest based around the list a few years ago here, but there weren't any HP fandom fills.

ANYWAYS, I came across this fabulous Johnlock fic by mistyzeo, that had a bunch of unrelated ficlets each inspired by one of the "reasons", and I felt weirdly inspired. I'd been thinking about maybe trying to write for awhile, but nothing had really grabbed at me until this. I started thinking up all this little scenarios for H/D and I thought I would give it a try.

This was all in October. And after several months of wibbling and encouragement from capitu and convincing that I'm actually not terrible at this whole writing thing from lauren3210, I'm ready to start posting.

My goal is to write a ficlet for each of the 50 prompts, and mostly just practice writing in general. The plan is to have them all by H/D and post one a week. I've already got several waiting in the wings, and I'm surprisingly excited to release them into the wild.

I'm pretty new at this whole things, so bear with me while I figure things out, yeah? These will pretty much be PWPs so I don't think there is too much for me to fuck up, but if you have any constructive criticism for me, I'm open to hearing it if you'd like to send me a PM. And, of course, if you'd like to tell me how utterly fabulous I am, you are also more than welcome to do that as well, though please don't feel like you have to restrict that to just my fics. ;)
