I haven't been active on hd_writers - for one, I haven't actually written much H/D, lol (though I want to do it more). Also, when I first started playing with the idea of writing H/D, I was thrilled that there were so many people in this fandom compared to other pairings I've been into (so even though there used to be more, to me it was all OMG all these people!! ;)). Wonderful, yes, but for a rather shy person like myself, also a little intimidating to deal with a group of people who all seemed to know each other super well. Silly, in a way, since everyone I've interacted with has been so nice, so maybe I'll try that comm some more if/when I write more H/D :)

Sorry for the rambling comment that somehow ended up being mostly about me, haha :)

I was sort of the same way when I first started writing. I know the H/D folks pretty well, but not in a writing capacity, so it was a bit intimidating! But I've found the chatroom to be really helpful in motivating me to write, with the sprinting together. :D

You should totally join in sometime, everybody is super nice! <3
