HP Cross-Gen Fest?  
So...I was making a list of all of my favorite pairings, as you do, and realized that significant chuck of them are cross-gen pairings. Which got me thinking about all the fests I follow and the fact that I can think of a single active fest for all-pairing Cross-Gen fic. I know there is [livejournal.com profile] hp_darkages, for angsty cross-gen, but I'm not a huge angst reader, and while I definitely enjoy in on occasion, a whole fest of angst overwhelms me. There are also a few pairing-specific cross-gen fests, like the Snarry-a-Thon at [livejournal.com profile] snape_potter and [livejournal.com profile] hds_beltane, but I was thinking on a broader scale. I know there was [livejournal.com profile] hp_cross_fest, but I don't think that has run in 4-5 years....

Anyways, am I missing a fest? Or is fandom just not as interested in cross-gen as I am? I'm curious about people's opinions/stance etc. and since I have been dying to use LJ's poll feature, I figured this would be a good chance!

You should totally do it:) There were other cross-gen fests in the past that I think have died out. When I'm not at work I can look some up for you. But I think it's awesome when new people get involved and start a new wave of excitement over pairings/themed fests.

If you ever need any mod-type consulting or help, PM me, I'd be more than happy to help.

You know, im not big on heavy angst either. Its more the potential for noncon im personally excited for at darkages. Thats my thing;)

Haha if I decide to try and do something I will definitely take you up on your offer! I always see you starting up new comms and fests and whatnot! :) I would really love to try and start something, but I've never done any modding, so I'm a bit nervous about starting something solo.

Hee, yeah it's because I'm crazy and impulsive. I'm like IDEA! IM DOING IT! NOW! :D

I wouldn't ask to comod (I have to much stuff as it is) but I could like GIVE you all the tools I've come up with over time. And then even if you don't get a comod, it will be fine anyways:) It's only overwhelming the first time ♥

Haha yes! I will definitely need ALL THE TOOLS if I decide to try a work something out here. :)

I'm actually pretty good with things like this and organizing and working under pressure, but I am such a perfectionist, that I would probably let it eat up all of my time, but, there are worst things to get obsessed over I suppose ;)
